Piximedia takes actions with Handicap International

September 28, 2013, « Handicap International » invites the public to Paris’ Bastille square and 30 major cities in France to participate to the 19th edition of the Pyramid of shoes. For this occasion, Piximedia and Havas Worldwide got engaged to promote a digital campaign for the association. Piximedia made Alliance Marketplace, the real time trading platform for engaged audience, available to « Handicap International ». The  format consists of a MPU and a Footer and provides true diffusing capacity and optimum visibility to the campaign.

« Handicap International » has been working since more than 30 years against landmines and cluster munitions (cluster bombs), weapons that continue to destroy lives during and after war. This campaign invites citizens to mobilize for the Pyramid of shoes: the event consists in leaving a pair of shoes, symbolizing the foot, leg, or the lives of thousands of innocent civilians following the explosion of a mine or a submunition, to show solidarity to the victims.

To support this association, Piximedia provides « Handicap International » with its RTB platform. First, Internet users are questioned by the message that appears on the MPU and the Footer (constantly visible). Second, by clicking on the MPU or roll-over on the Footer, the mini-website appears giving Internet users the opportunity to get more informations about the event and the association.

This digital campaign enables to raise Internet users awareness making them react.
